05/08/08 - The Return of The Goonies Rumour has it that The Goonies is to return with a sequel in the form of The Goonies 2. Moviehole is the website to have originally leaked this information, and it would seem that the writing process has already begun. Will it just be a direct-to-DVD duff though? Apparently not, it will be given a full scale theatrical release providing that all goes to plan and we shall all get a chance to see the wonderful new film that is Goonies 2.
